Who is responsible for your data

G. Alberto Castañeda C., an individual doing business as Arrobabeto Media, is responsible for processing the personal data you share on the Bin Hive waitlist.

He handles requests about your personal data himself.

This notice is governed by Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

What data we process

  • Email address. This is the only required field.
  • Name. Only if you enter it in the full form.
  • How you would use Bin Hive (creator or agency), in the full form.
  • Language of the page where you signed up.
  • Interaction with our emails: whether you open them and which links you click. Our email provider measures this.

We don’t ask for sensitive, financial or asset-related personal data.

What we use it for

Primary purposes. These are the reason you signed up:

  • Managing your spot on the waitlist.
  • Letting you know when we open spots and when Bin Hive launches.
  • Sending you product news and updates.

Secondary purposes. They aren’t needed for the waitlist, but they help us:

  • Sending you promotions, offers and marketing emails about Bin Hive and other Arrobabeto Media products.
  • Analyzing sign-up profiles and email engagement in aggregate to prioritize the product.

We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

How to opt out of secondary purposes or limit the use of your data

  • Email hola@arrobabeto.com saying you don’t want to receive promotions. You’ll stay on the waitlist.
  • Use the unsubscribe link included in every email. This stops all of our emails.
  • If you are in Mexico, you can also sign up for Profeco’s Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP).

Opting out of secondary purposes doesn’t affect your spot on the waitlist.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This site doesn’t use cookies, analytics tools or tracking pixels.

The emails we send through MailerLite measure opens and clicks. This tells us which content interests you and supports the purposes described above.

Providers that process your data on our behalf

We only share your data with providers that process it on our behalf and following our instructions:

  • MailerLite, our email marketing provider, stores the list and sends the emails.
  • Vercel hosts this site and processes the form submission.

These providers may store data on servers outside Mexico and protect it under their own security measures.

We don’t transfer your data to any other third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you stay subscribed.

If you unsubscribe, we only keep your email address marked as “unsubscribed” so we don’t write to you again. If you ask us to delete your data, we erase it completely.

You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use (known in Mexico as ARCO rights). You can also withdraw your consent at any time.

To do so, email hola@arrobabeto.com and include:

  1. Your name and a way to send you our response.
  2. A document proving your identity or, if a representative acts for you, their identity and authority.
  3. Which right you want to exercise and which data it refers to.
  4. Anything that helps us find your information, such as the email address you signed up with.

For a correction, also tell us what needs to change.

Deadlines:

  • We respond within 20 days of receiving your request.
  • If it applies, we carry it out within the following 15 days.
  • These deadlines may be extended once, for the same period, when the case justifies it.

Exercising these rights is free.

To withdraw your consent to receive emails, the unsubscribe link in any email is enough. Withdrawal doesn’t have retroactive effects.

Authority

If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you can go to Mexico’s Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance). It is the competent authority under the LFPDPPP.

Minors

The waitlist is intended for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this same page with its update date. If a change affects the purposes for which we use your data, we will also let you know by email.
